Welcoming a New Partner

JGSM is pleased to announce that Aaron Harris has become a member/partner in the firm. He has been with the firm since July 2006. Aaron's practice has an emphasis in elder law, estate planning, and family law.   

Current Estate Planning Issues

On August 4, 2011, Aaron Harris, an associate attorney at Johnson, Gaukroger, Smith & Marchant, P.S., attended a seminar sponsored by the Washington State Bar Association entitled “Estate Planning: Fundamentals, Forms and Ethics.”  Aaron’s practice has an emphasis in estate planning, family law, and real estate transactions. 

Labor and Employment Law

Danielle R. Marchant, a partner at JGSM, has recently attended a seminar sponsored by the Washington State Bar Association regarding Labor and Employment Law.  Danielle's practice includes litigating issues on behalf of an employee or an employer concerning the workplace environment. 

Leading the Pack on Family Law Matters

Robin Gaukroger, a partner at Johnson, Gaukroger, Smith & Marchant, P.S., was a speaker at the 2011 Family Law Section Midyear Meeting and Seminar held in Spokane, Washington on June 17 – 19, 2011.  He spoke on the topic of Spousal Support (Alimony) with Forensic Support.  Robin practices primarily in family law regarding dissolutions, legal separations, meretricious relationships, and child support/custody matters.   

An Addition to JGSM

Sean Esworthy has joined JGSM as an associate attorney. He is currently assigned to prosecute gross misdemeanor, misdemeanor, and civil infraction matters for the City of Wenatchee as an Assistant City Attorney.  He previously worked as an Assistant City Attorney with the City of Marysville.  In May 2010, Sean graduated cum laude from Seattle University School of Law.  He is currently a member of the Chelan-Douglas Counties Bar Association, the Washington State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association
